Board Certified in Pain Medicine & Anesthesiology
Dr. Kathy Wang is a board certified anesthesiologist who studied biochemistry at The University of California at Long Beach, and received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri.
Upon graduation, she completed her residency in anesthesiology at Saint Louis University Hospital where she became chief resident. She subsequently completed a Pain Fellowship and acupuncture training at Harvard Medical School.
Currently, Dr. Wang practices anesthesiology and pain management at Microsurgical Spine Center outside of Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Wang, who has practiced for over 13 years, received several honors during her fellowship including Pain Fellow of the Year at Harvard Beth Deaconess Medical Center. She has been published in the American Journal of Physiology and has been invited to speak at conferences regarding her expertise.
Dr. Wang is also fluent in conversational and written Chinese. In her time outside work, she enjoys running and hiking, competitive badminton, and drawing.
