Alex Mohit, MD, PhD

Dr. Mohit is a Neurosurgeon specializing in complex spine surgery. Dr. Mohit’s clinical and research interests focus primarily on the evaluation, surgical management, and outcome assessment of patients with disorders of the spine and spinal cord.

He is a recognized expert in the surgical management of spinal disorders and injuries including spinal cord tumors, vascular malformations, herniated cervical and lumbar discs, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, arthroplasty, and spinal stabilization.

Dr. Mohit is Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He graduated from The Keck School of Medicine of USC with both an MD, and PhD in Neurobiology. He completed his Neurosurgery residency at the University of Washington where he also completed a Skull Base Fellowship, followed by a Complex Spine Surgery Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Spine Institute. In his 10+ years of practice, Dr. Mohit has performed over 5000 spinal procedures.
